High Trail Studios is an independent studio based in Southern California. We're a small team passionate about games and storytelling in all its forms: at the table, behind the keyboard and mouse, and (soon) on the page. We're just as passionate about the infrastructure that makes it all run well. We also open-source some of the tools we build along the way, free to grab on our GitHub page.
Our inaugural project is Chronkeeper, a campaign manager for tabletop RPGs that keeps track of time, travel, players, and everything else happening at your table, so you can focus on running the game. Because we're players first, Chronkeeper is shaped by real play. Our latest D&D campaign led us to add a crafting system that puts players more in charge of their characters' progression.
